No Bake Energy Bites (Snack)

A favourite on my snack list right now! I’ve committed part of meal prep towards finding more healthy and tasty homemade snacks yet quick and convenient. These energy bites are high in fiber and essential fatty acids which many people don’t get enough of in their daily diet!

 

No Bake Energy Bites

Prep Time: 5 minutes, Cool: 5 minutes, Servings: 14

Ingredients:
1 c. old fashioned oats
2/3 c. almond butter
2 tbsp. honey
1/4 c. ground flaxseed
1/3 c. chocolate chips or raisins (I did half and half)

Optional: Dash of pure vanilla extract, pinch of sea salt, 3 tbsp. plant-based protein powder

Instructions:
1 Line a baking sheet with parchment paper
2 Combine all ingredients and mix thoroughly. Roll into balls with palm of hands (about 2 tbsp. sized balls). Place into fridge or freezer then enjoy!
